The Hilarious Battle Between HCG Frauds and Homeopathy Frauds

editor's note: The fun is over folks. After this article was written (and we are pretty sure that it was BECAUSE of this article), the FDA has declared homeopathic hCG to be BULL-SHIT! Still, this little article is worth reading.

"Homeopathic HCG is a fraud!" scream the indignant websites that make money selling HCG by injection. Indeed they are right: homeopathy IS fraud. But then so is HCG for weight loss. Let's take a quick look at "homeopathic HCG"

What Does "Homeopathic" mean?

Homeopathy is based on the idiotic "principle" of infinite dilution. The 'idea' is that if something is making you sick then infinitely dilute solutions of that substance will cure you.

What is "Infinite Dilution"?

Let's say you take one ounce of something "bad" that's making you sick and mix that into nine ounces of water. You have just made a one-to-ten (1/10) dilution of the bad "stuff". Now mix the whole mess up and take out one ounce and then mix IT into 9 parts water. Now you have a 1/100 dilution. Mix 1 part of that into nine, mix and repeat over and over and over and over. Perform about 45 dilutions and you have a 1/100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 dilution. Now the idea of homeopathy is that somehow in diluting the "bad" stuff so many times, the solution has become "curative". The only problem is that the solution is now so dilute that not even one molecule of the bad substance remains so that all we really have is just plain old water....and a whole lot of bullshit.

So is "Homeopathic HCG" then infinitely diluted HCG?

Yes!

So "Homeopathic HCG" isn't really HCG at all?

Correct, it's just water or saline or whatever.

Why would anyone sell water labeled as "HCG"?

MONEY. They are fooling people who don't understand the total bullshit of both HCG and homeopathy AND...this is important...because "homeopathic HCG" isn't really HCG at all, it isn't regulated as a prescription drug so that any old idiot can give it out without having to fear going to jail. Furthermore, since "homeopathic HCG" doesn't contain any HCG, it works equally "well" injected, swallowed, snorted or tossed in the garbage.

So "Homeopathic HCG" is basically "bullshit squared"?

Yep. Its a fraudulent preparation of a fraudulent product.

Wait a minute! If homeopathy is based upon infinite dilution of "bad" stuff, then isn't the idea of infinite dilution of HCG opposite to the principle of homeopathy?

Right. HCg is supposed to be "good" so why should diluting it help cure obesity? Let's face it, it's ALL 100% pure bullshit. HCG for weight loss is bullshit and so is homeopathy.

I'm getting bored with this subject, aren't you?

Yes. Extremely. There isn't much to say about nonsense.
